POSTER – Celebrating a Century of Conservation
2003 was the centennial for the National Wildlife Refuge system. The first refuge in Florida preserved a nesting colony of Brown Pelicans. Since then over 500 refuges have been established preserving habitat for endangered species, migratory pathways, wintering grounds, etc. Our poster measures 17 1/2 x 24 inches, is printed from an original watercolor by Carl and features the names of many of the National Wildlife Refuges.
